WE NOW OFFER SEMINARS FOR TEACHERS!
One-week seminars and multiple weekend seminars are offered through out the year to give teachers a hands-on overview of the ideas presented in the Teaching Tap A-Z Program. These seminars are designed to evaluate where teachers are, give them a curriculum matrix to integrate material into and supply them with the administrative, curriculum and pedagogical information to fill the gaps. It covers topics such as; how to build a floor, how to teach pick-ups, how to plan a class, semester, year and how to identify learning styles. Each seminar will vary based on the needs of the individuals in the group. This is a fun and interactive way to evaluate where you are, decide where you want to go and set goals to get there.

TAP IS IMPORTANT!
Tap is a dance form that draws all kinds of people into the classroom: young, old, experienced and inexperienced! Those schools (private studios, public schools, colleges or universities) that develop strong Tap programs will find that not only is Tap an integral part of the overall dance curriculum but it engages an entirely different clientele. This clientele will help to financially strengthen and support your institution.

SEMINAR FORMAT
The seminar has two formats. Both formats include a full 30 hours of education, however, the days are divided up to serve the needs of a variety of schedules.

Format 1: One-Week Seminar (10:00am-4:00pm) This seminar runs a full week, Monday- Friday.

Format 2: Two-Weekend Seminar (9:00am-4:30pm) This seminar runs two consecutive weekends, each weekend Saturday and Sunday. Although the second format has only four days, it has the same amount of instructional time.

Classroom supplies (three ring binder, handouts, extra paper, writing utensils)

FREE 1 year personalized video evaluation check-up ($100.00 value). During the year following completion of the seminar, send in a video of you teaching any class and we will evaluate it and return it to you at no cost.

FREE 1 hour of consultation within the 1st year after the seminar has been completed ($75.00 value). During the year following completion of the seminar, call or e-mail with any classroom concern you have and we will help you to find a feasible solution.
